Crisis Management

Crisis management is a term that refers to the approach taken following a crisis in order to recover from that crisis. For governments, this is in regards to several crisis, the most common being an economic cir sis or one caused by terrorism. Such efforts made for the sake of crisis management can be seen in any of the government programs directed towards disaster victims and individuals who have fallen into financial problems. For businesses, crisis management is, again, a planned process that is set to prevent further problems in the event of an unforeseen crisis. Business crisis management is generally aimed to protecting the individuals involved and "keeping in the black," rather than losing financially due to the circumstances that have occurred. Consumers of any type, especially those with large assets, also may prepare for financial crisis by backing their assets with savings to make sure all is not lost in the event of a crisis.
