Disaster Planning

In life, the potential for disaster to occur on a certain individual is not high, but the possibility itself warrants preparedness for disaster, at least to a reasonable extent. Disasters can include fires, earthquakes, fires, floods, hurricanes, terrorism, and many other significant and unforeseen events that warrant crisis. Disaster planning is the process used to plan for these disasters by being prepared for the many issues presented by such a terrible event. In the United States, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) contributes greatly to disaster planning by administering resources to those who have been unexpectedly affected by disaster. Outside FEMA and other agencies that deliver disaster planning, it is also advisable for citizens to prepare themselves by attending to the possible financial and non-financial crisis that will arise if a disaster were to occur. FEMA advises that citizens not only informed but also have a plan of action arranged before a disaster takes place.
