Irs Form 1040ez

The IRS Form 1040 EZ is the "easy" tax form. It is the form that is recommended to taxpayers who need to file a simple form for single or joint returns with no dependents. Also, in order to be eligible for the form, the filer or filers must have a total taxable income less than $100,000. It consists of only six sections and is a simplified version of the form 1040. Several restrictions were imposed on the EZ form in 2005, including the following: the filer or filers must be under the age of 65 and not blind at the end of 2005 and the only credit that can be claimed is the Earned Income Tax Credit.
