Real Estate Investments

Real estate investments are any type of investment that relates to real estate, including the purchase of residential, commercial, industrial or open land investment. Those who invest in real estate may purchase the property and hold it, to collect rent. They may also live in the property. Others lease the property to tenants, such as in a commercial setting. Still others purchase the property at a low cost, improve its value and then resell the property at a higher price point. Real estate investments are available for purchase solely by an individual or by a group. Others may invest in companies that purchase, sell and rent real estate through stock purchase or financial investment. This investment strategy is one of the most commonly used methods for building wealth in the United States and globally.
