Retirement Savings Method

A retirement savings method is a type of investment method that is designed specifically for retirement savings. In particular, this type of savings account is designed to allow individuals to put money away with tax advantages for their retirement years. The funds added to the accounts grow untaxed during their building years. Some forms of retirement savings accounts allow for pretax dollars to be invested, such as the IRA and 401k accounts and these are taxed when the funds are withdrawn from the account. The Roth IRA is another retirement savings method however in this case, the funds are taxed prior to being deposited and are not taxed at the time of withdrawal.
